Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to common questions about AIMS and how it works for schools across Africa.

AIMS is a school management platform built for African schools. It handles student records, attendance, fees, timetables, exams, and reports—all in one place. It works offline and keeps data in your country.

No. AIMS is designed to work offline. Teachers and staff can mark attendance, update grades, and add records when the internet is down. When connection returns, everything syncs automatically.

You choose. We support cloud hosting in your region and on-premises deployment. We never move student data outside the borders you specify.

Sign up with your school details. You'll get a dedicated subdomain (e.g. yourschool.aims.education). Invite staff, add students, and start using the modules you need. No credit card required for the free tier.

We support multiple curricula including Cambridge, IB, WAEC, and local national curricula. You can configure grading and terms to match your system.

Yes. Parents can log in to a portal to view fees, attendance, and grades (based on your settings). Notifications can be sent via email or SMS where configured.

We offer a free tier for small schools (up to 100 students). Larger schools and districts get custom pricing—per school or multi-school—with no per-seat surprises. See the Pricing page or contact us.
